Sanford Health recently completed a newly constructed 161,000-square-foot, nine-story facility in Sioux Falls that houses the Sanford Orthopedic Hospital and the High Point Hotel. The lower levels include 35 pre- and post-operative care rooms and 12 operating rooms, while the upper levels feature a 56-room hotel.
G&R Controls provided and installed the new Siemens Direct Digital Controls (DDCs) to control the new HVAC equipment for the project. This unique facility features a two-story mechanical room located at the center of the building, supporting efficient system operation, streamlined maintenance access, and long-term reliability. The centralized design allows equipment to be optimally placed for ease of service, helping the facility operate smoothly and cost-effectively.
The system will support a safe and healthy environment while effectively managing the demands of a complex healthcare facility.
